Cano and Company is pleased to offer the opportunity to purchase the Legacy Traditional School - Basse Road Campus. The school will be closing at the end of May, 2025. The property consists of several renovated buildings situated on 10.64 acres or land. NOW TOURING.
BUILDING 1 – Building 1 was constructed around 1984 and consists of approximately 22,774 sf over four floors. It is built of cast-in-place concrete. Floors 1 and 2 were heavily damaged by a broken water line in December 2022. Remediation was completed but the damage has never been repaired. Prior to the flooding event, the building had been used for classrooms, a library, and administrative offices.
BUILDING 2 – Building 2 dated back to the 1960s. The northern portion was formerly a chapel, now used for a cafeteria. A temporary wall was constructed in 2024 to allow for renovation on the north side of the building that were never started. The southern half contains several office and two classrooms.
BUILDING 3 - Building was built in the 1960s. The northern portion has a gym, commercial kitchen, and several offices. The southern portion houses 15 classrooms (10 downstairs, 5 upstairs) and several small offices. Building 3 was covered by a new TPO room in 4Q24.
BUILDINGS 4 thru 7 - The buildings have not been actively used in several years except for storage. Two portable buildings, 6 and 7, are not structurally sound.
BUILDING 8 – Building 8 was installed on the site around 2006. It has restrooms for boys and girls. The building was heavily renovated in 2023.
BUILDINGS 9 thru 14- Buildings 9 thru 14 are nearly identical classroom building that were installed around 2006 and heavily renovated in 2023. Each building contains two classrooms.
