Chicago Public Schools would like to invite you to join a public meeting regarding the current bid opportunity and to discuss the redevelopment of vacant CPS school buildings. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the process for bidding on the acquisition of the various properties, about available development incentives, as well as how other vacant school properties have been successfully redeveloped. Our priority is to align redevelopment with CPS values: community stabilization, economic mobility, and investment in neighborhood schools.
Among the topics to be discussed are: development incentives, potential financing vehicles, the bid process, and highlight past successes.
